Faith That Moves Mountains

In Matthew 17:20 Jesus replies to His disciples after they met with Him in private to ask "why couldn't they heal a boy that was suffering from seizures." Bible reference: Matthew 17:14-16, and Matthew 17:19

He said to them, "Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you."

This is one of my favorite Bible verses because it's not how big your faith is that can move mountains. Jesus clearly states that "if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed," nothing will be impossible for you. Having faith that Jesus describes, is faith that can heal the sick, power and authority that can only come from God in the name of Jesus to drive out demons. Yes, demons and people oppressed by Satan. Read Matthew 17:18 for reference Having the kind of faith that can bring salvation to your family, friends, and neighbors. 

I know that having faith can be difficult at times because you may lack the strength to keep moving, praying, or believing in the promises God planned for your life. Remember that drawing near to God and His word is the only way to deepen our faith. Believe in the power of the Holy Spirit that helps us have that kind of faith. Having faith like a grain of mustard seed can move mountains!
