Maybelline Dream Cushion Fresh Face Foundation is a full coverage foundation with a luminous finish.


Thoughts:

Maybelline is one of my favorite drugstore brands, and I was happy to see that they came out with a new cushion foundation. As a Siempre Mujer Panel member, I got the chance to try it first around December 2016 before it hit stores. Of course as always, I like to take my time trying out new products to see whether or not they work. I'm happy to say that the Maybelline Dream Cushion Fresh Face Foundation works for me.

Before I share all the deets on why it's my fave lets talk packaging. First, I love how compact the Maybelline Dream Cushion Foundation is. I like the fact that it comes with a mirror, and its own makeup sponge for easy application when I'm on the go.

Moving on to the actual foundation, I got to pick out the color (the color I chose is number 30 warm nude), and it matches my skin perfectly. As soon as I apply the Dream Cushion Foundation to my face, I immediately notice that it's a pigmented foundation with medium to full coverage. 

The Maybelline Dream Cushion Foundation is light-weight, and breathable on the skin. I really like that it hides all of my imperfections without it making me look cakey. Plus it also makes my skin look luminous, and healthy. This foundation reminds me of the L'Oréal True Match Super Blendable Makeup, but without SPF that tends to break me out, and in a cushion form. Also after you apply the Maybelline Dream Cushion Foundation, I noticed that it dries quickly. My face doesn't feel sticky after application.

One downside to the Maybelline Dream Cushion Foundation is that if you don't set it with powder or makeup setting spray, it wears off. While I was testing it out, I noticed that the Dream Cushion Foundation wore off on and around my chin area. However, because the Maybelline Dream Cushion is made for on-the-go you can easily touch-up.

Overall Thoughts:

Overall, I'm glad I was chosen to try the Maybelline Dream Cushion Fresh Face Foundation. I'm definitely loving it, and use it on a daily basis. Since this is my first experience with cushion foundation, I definitely would like to try more from other brands. In the meantime I continue to use Maybelline Dream Cushion Foundation, and will purchase in the future.
