I’ve always been curious about the Proactiv Solution Kit. So many celebrities talk about Proactiv, but that’s not enough to convince me that it works. I was a skeptic. Today, I’m telling you about my thoughts and experience on the very popular Proactiv Solution 3-Step Kit. Before I get started here’s what you get inside the kit.
The Proactiv Solution 3-Step Kit comes with an oil-free Renewing Cleanser, Revitalizing Toner, and Repairing Treatment Lotion. Infused with benzoyl peroxide, glycolic acid, and sulfur that help soothe, clear, and brighten your skin for a healthier complexion.

My story/thoughts/experience:

I have adult acne, and let me tell you it sucks. It sucks because in my teens my skin was clear. My face was so clear that I would always get compliments, and even asked why I’m not breaking out. I always thought that since my mom had beautiful skin I got her good genes. Well, that’s not the case, because as soon as I turned twenty years old my skin changed. I began breaking out. It didn’t get better it got worse especially after having children. I’m thinking maybe this is hormonal. I’m now in my thirties and I continue to suffer from acne breakouts. Although most of the acne on my face has cleared up a bit, my skin still has acne blemishes, scarring, and I occasionally breakout.

Here comes Proactiv Solution to save my skin! The 3-Step Proactiv Solution Kit is really easy to use. Inside the kit, there is an instructional booklet that gives you detailed information on how to use the 3-step system. Plus you get a 2 month supply so it’s big enough that you can see whether it works. I started using the Proactiv Solution 3-Step Kit for about 2 weeks and I can already see a difference in my skin. My skin feels softer, and there are fewer lumps and bumps.

The acne scars are still noticeable, but the texture is smoother. I noticed that once I cleansed my skin with the Renewing Cleanser that it also exfoliates, so after use I see brighter skin. The Revitalizing Toner is like no other toner I’ve tried before, since it soothes my skin, and doesn’t sting, or irritate my skin. My favorite product is the Repairing Treatment Lotion. It’s recommended that it be used 3 times a day on acne-prone areas. I’m also loving that all 3 products have a clean fresh scent!

My skin looks so much better and I have proof. Below there is a before and after photo of me without any makeup on. I put Proactiv Solution to the test, and then 10 days later I snapped a photo. I continue to use Proactiv Solution and will update you on my progress, only because I know that many people are curious if this stuff works. So far so good! I like it so much I don’t want to use any other skincare product on my face. I know I have a long way to go, but I’m loving the way my skin looks.

Proactiv Solution is working, but I’m also taking preventative measures to help keep my skin acne-free. I make sure that all of my makeup brushes get washed every week, and sanitized in between washes so that I don’t transfer any bacteria on my face. I also wash and change my sheets every 3 days, and switch towels. There are so many things that can cause acne, so I think taking these steps is important to help keep your skin clear.
