The Profusion Kiss Me Up Velvet Matte Lipstick Set features 6 creamy and velvety smooth semi-matte lipsticks, in beautiful highly pigmented shades.

Thoughts:

As a #lipstick junkie, I was excited to see that the Profusion Kiss Me Up Set was one of the products inside my Profusion Insider Box. My first reaction was "wow this would make a great holiday gift for any beauty lover". Of course, I need to try them first to make sure I want to gift it. Although the packaging is really cute, what's inside of the pretty box is what counts right?

So when you open up the Profusion Kiss Me Up Matte Lipstick Set, you will see a pictorial of how you can use the lipsticks. I really like how all the lipsticks are nicely placed inside of the box, and the packaging of the actual lipstick tubes are quite nice. They have a nice matte finished texture with a cute shiny lined or stripe design.

The lipsticks range from your everyday nude, pinks, orange, red and perfect for fall and winter wine or berry shade. I'm not that good at describing the colors so please bare with me.

Each lipstick is highly pigmented and applies smoothly. I really like the rich feel of the lipsticks because I can immediately tell that they are infused with some pretty good hydrating ingredients, that I think is perfect this time of year. Now, I really don't think that these lipsticks are a true matte finish. The Profusion Kiss Me Up Velvet Matte Lipsticks are a semi-matte finish lipstick and have a sheen to them.

They really do feel velvety and smooth which I really love. The colors are trendy and very wearable. As for staying power, they last a couple of hours, but of course, you have to reapply after eating or drinking since they are not transfer-proof. I really like that after eating and drinking they leave a slight stain effect to your lips. I noticed that most with the pink, red, and berry shades.

The lightest colors in the set which are the nude and light pink shade accentuate the lines on my lips more than the other 4 vibrant colors. I suggest that you apply a lip liner because they can feather a bit. One down-side to the Profusion Kiss Me Up Set is the fact that the shades don't have any names. It's so hard to distinguish the colors or if someone commented on my lipstick (which can happen lol) you can't give them a shade name.
