BH Cosmetics: Missy Lynn Palette Review And Swatches

The BH Cosmetics Missy Lynn Palette is an eye shadow and baked highlighter palette that features 6 warm-toned shadows, and 2 rose gold highlighters that were chosen by the famous Missy Lynn a Beauty YouTuber.

Thoughts:

I purchased the Missy Lynn Eye Shadow Palette around March 2016, and since then I've had a good amount of time to play around with it and create looks. I must say this palette is gorgeous. The packaging is pretty cool and I like the feminine look of the army I.D. tags or how I like to say dog tags. If you watch Missy Lynn you know that she is an active-duty military member and the packaging is totally her style.

Inside the palette, there is a mirror and a nice inspirational quote that reads "Start with confidence. Finish with success" As for the eye shadows, I think the shade range is beautiful! I have brown eyes and I definitely gravitate toward purple, and gold shades the most because they make my eyes pop.

The eye shadows are highly pigmented, and they apply evenly with fingers as well as with a brush. When I first swatched them on my skin with my fingers I didn't use a primer. I couldn't believe how pigmented they were, and I noticed that the colors didn't feel chalky. They all have a smooth texture and don't flake.

Swatches:

I love the way that the eye shadows blend together. All the eye shadows look beautiful on the lids, and you can create many looks with it. Another plus is the fact that the eye shadows last a long time with primer when applied on lids. They don't crease, and there is little to no fallout. Plus this palette has been swatched alongside the Too Faced PB&J palette, and the Missy Lynn Palette is a dupe. So if you want to save some money this palette is for you. You will be able to achieve similar looks without the peanut butter scent lol.

The Missy Lynn Eye Shadow Palette is also a multi-tasking product since you can use the baked highlighters as shadows. Since I'm talking about the baked highlighters, let me tell you what I think. I love them! Although they are too dark for my skin tone to use as highlighters, I like to use them as blush toppers with a matte blush to give my skin light and natural highlight.

The baked highlighters are amazing, and you can also use them wet. I think that the highlighters are perfect for deeper skin tones, and if you're like me with a light-to-medium skin-tone or even fair the baked highlighters are going to be great as eye shadows, or blush toppers.

Beauty look using the BH Cosmetics Missy Lynn Eye Shadow Palette:

Overall, I'm so glad I purchased the Missy Lynn Eye Shadow and Baked Highlighter Palette. The quality and pigmentation is great, and so much better than some other drugstore shadows I own. If you are still thinking about purchasing I definitely recommend this palette. It is still available on the BH Cosmetics online store and it now retails for only $9.

If you own this palette, do you like it as much as I do?
