Lorac: Pink Champagne Eye And Cheek Palette Review

The Lorac Pink Champagne Eye and Cheek Palette is a limited edition Amazon exclusive palette that features 4 eye shadows, a highlighter, blush, and bronzer.

Thoughts:

I can't believe that I purchased this beautiful palette around February, and I haven't used it until just recently in the middle and end of August. This beauty comes with everything you need to create beautiful neutral, or smoky eyes. Plus the highlighter, and bronzer can also be used as eye shadows so it's a mini multi-tasking palette. Because this is my first Lorac eye product I can't compare it to any other Lorac shadows, so I think this palette is the perfect introduction to their brand.

Packaging:

I love the packaging since it's small enough for you take it with you on trips, or for easy touch-ups since it includes a nicely sized mirror. The only down-side to the packaging is the fact that it can get dirty easily. The Lorac Pink Champagne palette is covered in a soft pink fabric so when you swirl your eye shadow or blush brushes into the powders, some of the powders transfer to the fabric making it get dirty.

Eye Shadows:

Moving on, you get 3 matte eye shadows, and one satin-shimmer shade. The colors are beautiful and perfect for everyday. I always here that Lorac shadows are so buttery, and they are with the exception of the deep mahogany shade. The texture is a bit rough, but when you apply it to your lids, it's so pigmented and blends beautifully.

Overall, I love the matte shades because they are one of the most pigmented, and blend able matte shades I own. The gold satin-shimmer shade in this palette is okay in pigment, but you can build up the color to get the color intensity you are looking for. It's a beautiful gold, but it's nothing that really wowed me.

I love that the eye shadows blend well together, and that they last a long time on your lids even without a  primer. I also like that the eye shadows in the Lorac Pink Champagne palette don't crease on my lids, which is something that I experience with other shadows since I have hooded lids.

Highlighter/Blush/Bronzer:

The highlighter in this palette is gorgeous. It's the perfect pearly luminizer for your face, but I think that some beauty lovers in a deeper skin tone may not like it since it's so pearly white. You can still make it work by mixing it with the gold satin-shimmer eye shadow, or just use the pearly highlighter as an eye shadow/eye brightener.

I really love the blush because it's matte, and the perfect rosy color for my skin tone. It applies evenly, and blends nicely without looking streaky. I'm so picky with my blushes, especially because I feel like after you apply foundation you lose some of your skin's healthy flush. Blush brings it all back and makes you look alive! This blush is perfect, and I really like it, plus a little goes along way since it's super pigmented.

The bronzer in this palette is perfection! I love how smooth it feels, and most importantly the way that it warms up my face. It is not too light or dark so it's the perfect light-medium warm bronzer. I really like it. You can also use it to contour if you like, but because it is not a cool-tone bronzer I just like to use it to give my skin a sun-kissed glow.

Swatches/beauty look:

Overall:

I love the Lorac Pink Champagne Eye and Cheek palette! Like I mentioned above it is the perfect introduction to their brand, or if you're like me to their shadows. I think it is the perfect gift for any makeup beginner, or beauty lover.
